Return to Eden tells the story of Aggie, a little girl who hasn't had it easy growing up. Being passed around from one family member to another, she fails to find stability, acceptance, and love. That all changes when she realizes that the animals in her backyard can talk. This leads Aggie into a miraculous paradise full of adventure, but things aren't as they seem, and soon Aggie finds herself between the ancient forces of good and evil. Will paradise fall, or will there be a Return to Eden?
This book is great for kids ages 10-14 as it will unlock their adventurous hearts and show them there's a BIGGER adventure their lives can be a part of, a love story set in the middle of a war.
Teens and adults will also love it as it has deep truths hidden in each chapter, like treasures just waiting to be discovered. Don't just take my word for it; grab a copy of Return to Eden and see for yourself!

A tale of two grandfathers: 1) My real grandfather, a pilot named Charlie, who flew away and abandoned his family when things got tough; and 2) My step-grandfather Floyd, a boxer who didn't give up and taught us all how to fight from love, for love. Two grandfathers; two vastly different ways of approaching life; one incredible story!
SYNOPSIS: When my grandmother, Lois, was 16 years old, she met a man named Floyd (17). Lois and Floyd got engaged, but Floyd had anger problems, and Lois' parents told him he couldn't marry Lois unless he got it under control. Floyd went into the army, became an incredible fighter/boxer, but while he was in Germany, Floyd's brother's wife told Lois that Floyd met and married a German girl. He didn't (!), but Lois was heartbroken, got married to a man named Charlie (a pilot and my real grandfather), and they had 5 kids together (my mom being the youngest). When my mom was 5, Charlie went out to get cigarettes one night, and NEVER CAME BACK (my mom hasn't seen him since; he apparently flew to Alaska and stayed there until his death). Lois, with 5 kids, started over, called a furniture company, and guess who delivered the furniture: Floyd did! They reconcile, get married (finally!), and as if that's amazing enough, Floyd then gets saved at a Billy Graham crusade. With Jesus now in Him, he became a loyal husband to Lois, a great stepfather to my mother and her siblings, and a fantastic grandfather to me as well (teaching me how to fight/stick it out vs. fleeing). Many years later at his funeral, I remember the Lord telling me "Don't be a Charlie but a Floyd"-- and learning to stick it out vs. fleeing has been a consistent theme of my life ever since. But how can I do that with Charlie's blood still flowing in my veins? Only by the grace of the One who saved Floyd, and the One who saved me as well: the Lord Jesus Christ! Only Jesus can enable me to not be a Charlie, but to be a Floyd, and He can do the same for you if you trust Him!
